Lower Your Score

Seriously, golf is an amazingly intriguing sport, one that is really never mastered. In fact, the average score of male golfers in the United States is just over 100. Par is usually 72 and is viciously pursued by most golfers.

Those golfers constantly buy new equipment, read monthly magazines for the latest magic tip or take continuing lessons in the search for golfing Nirvana. Unfortunately most golfers ignore the most powerful aid for improving their golf – the mind.

Good Bogey-Bad Bogey was initially inspired by the approach my father used to score really well, even with a swing that defied the norm.

My father had a terrible golf swing, at least compared to the fluid, powerful swing of really good golfers.

His swing was bad, but his score was good… really good!

There were two places about five inches long in which he excelled. First, the space between his ears was phenomenally effective. The thought processes he used in traveling the golf course almost never led to a poor decision. Second, those few inches in which the club and the ball were in contact gave a beautiful sounding click followed by a shot headed where he envisioned.

In this book you will discover how to make golf decisions that lower your score and improve your enjoyment of the game. You will find it is possible to lower your score magnificently without making significant changes in your swing.

I had nearly finished the book when I met Dan Martin, a PGA professional who specializes in the use of the mind to bring your golf game to fulfillment. So between my father, Dan and my passion for golf, the book was born. Learn more about this book byChapter Three Good Bogey Bad Bogey
